I'm trying to think this through, and frankly cannot get my mind around it, would appreciate some help.

Chapman, as a private university, would appear to be unaffected by problems in CA government - or much, much less affected than a state school. But are there issues with the budget shortfall that I need to think about, like maybe mass transit, or whatever?

Have any of you out in CA heard what some of the lost services would be? How do you feel about it? Are you making any plans based on loss of revenues? I would like to be in the know and not left in the dark, if there is some consensus on what we could do to protect students' basic lifestyles and education.
