I read somewhere Jan 2. But that has to be wrong because there wouldn't be any time really before the semester started. Spring starts Jan 24th I think.

thanks for that (the webadvisor thing). yeah, i read somewhere it starts feburary 1st, but woah, whichever one it is, woah. i hope it's earlier when they notify us. if we do get in (knock on wood), that won't be enough time to prepare. i mean the whole financial aid process and stuff.

Honestly, I think we'll start finding out in Dec, but the website says Jan 2nd. It usually takes longer for the Dodge College because there's so few spots. My nerves are beginning to set in. it's time for the waiting... :-)

I am a parent who enjoys reading the various postings on CC....my son is a soph. film production major who loves Chapman....the cirriculum is so hands on right from the beginning....this semester he is taking 4 film classes....lots of work but lots of fun....he spends a ton of time helping on various shoots....last weekend he worked on a 3 day shoot, 12 hours each day which was really tiring but he loves it and is learning alot....good luck...I hope you get in...

I went in for the "interview" with a Chapman admissions rep and she was pretty straight forward letting me know that my chances look good for spring transfer.

She also let me know that I should hear back from Chapman by mid-late Nov. Which I was surprised to hear. Anyway, I keep checking the webadvisor and it says my decision is pending.....

really?? what did she your chances were? and what are you majoring in? letting me know about your chances (according to your stats) would really help me out (my nerves), and i'd be really grateful.

and mid-late november? wow oh wow oh wow. that is suprising. they are on it, huh.

thanks. any information you (or anyone else) can give helps.

They're definitely on it, I did receive a call yesterday, asking for "grades to date" this semester. I'm really glad they did that, because I'm killing it this semester with high As in 18 units, so I'm sure that makes a difference to them, especially concerning scholarships .

I am a Philosophy/pre law major, with about 50 units after this semester. If I continue to hold my GPA I should transfer with anywhere between a 3.6-3.7. Right now as my GPA stands they will be making a decision off of my 3.4 GPA :/. The admissions rep said they would most likely ask for a mid semester report from my professors, and they did, all of my professors replied promptly explaining that I have As. So...I'll keep you up to date Taylor. what about you..what major?

BTW, the admissions rep told me they will admit about 150 students for spring.
