Sooo. You know how it's like, really hard to get into their film production major? (according to the battle which was admissions fall 2009 semester), and television/ broadcast journalism is easier?

What would you recommend?
On the common application you can choose 3 intended choices of majors, in order of preference. Of course, I would/will choose film production as my first choice (still only choice in my mind), but since television/broadcast journalism is easier, put that as second choice?
I've been reading other threads, and a few people who applied for FP as first choice, and Tv/Broadcast Journalism as a second choice, got offered acceptance to the school for that major instead.

The ways it could go is either you can have a fall plan of getting in with more chance to TV, or, if i do this, they might think, oh, TV's her second choice, lets ask her for that and make room for someone else to take that place in Film Production.

You know what I mean? I mean in my heart, I just want Film Production.

If film production is what you want- go for it.
However, be aware it is VERY VERY competitive, so put down a 2nd and 3rd choice major for something else you think you would enjoy at Dodge!
If you get denied for film production, you can always get in a different one!
