Harding U?

This one just came up on our radar. Any thoughts or experiences?

Probably a great place for your offspring. I'd keep it on target. College in AR, seminary in Memphis.

Since Harding has better 'stats' (as per collegeboard) with SAT, ACT, etc, why is Harding never brought up on this board as an option in the same vein as Biola? Granted, Wheaton and Grove City have better stats, so I can understand on those threads.

If we were to consider Harding, my son would be in the top 25% of students (again, as per tests). I can sense this being a positive for merit aid, but wonder about the level of education.

Just musing... It's a 17 hour trip away... farther than Wheaton - and 10 hours between Wheaton and Harding if we were to combine trips.

It's difficult to assess where Harding stands Biblically via their website. Is it similar to Wheaton in that vein? I'm guessing with it being on a Top 10 Conservative College listing that it isn't exactly liberal, but politics and beliefs can diverge.

All musings from someone who previously had never heard of the place and doesn't exactly live 'next door' to hop over and look at it. Would love thoughts from others with more thoughts and assessments - or more specific ones if you don't mind sharing Whistle Pig.
