Opinions on Valparaiso

Where does Valparaiso fit into the mix of Christian colleges? I know the chapel is large and beautiful, but what about the rest of the student life?

I'm assuming you know Valpo is Lutheran. St. Olaf, Augsburg and Carthage are ELCA. Valpo is LCA. Liberals, conservatives...all types of kids at all three of these schools from different religious affiliations and difference places. Not sure how to describe it in the context of "other Christian" colleges as that covers tons of ground from strongly religious schools like Wheaton to schools that have only a tangential relationship or historical relationship to the original founding religions (e.g. Kalamazoo College - Baptist I believe) to Andrews which is very closely tied to their church. Not as strict about chapel attendence as some of the CRC (Christian Reformed) schools and Catholic schools...hard to answer your questions because it is a pretty broad question. Maybe ask in the Valpo forum or the parents forum. There are a few parents that post with kids at Valpo.
