Saturday. I think my S will be ready for us to leave by then!

At the moment, we're planning to arrive on the 17th. . .What are your ARRIVAL plans?

Well, we were going to arrive on Sunday and explore Cincinnati for a few days before moving in. But since we want to stay longer on the end and have to change our tickets anyway, we will probably arrive on Tuesday for a Wednesday move in.

We will be arriving on Wed morning. We only have a 3 hour drive. After move in, my husband will return home and I will visit my parents until Friday when we all come back for the picnic. I agree that it sounds like fun and we can't wait to meet everyone.

OK CCM parents. . .I'm thinking that after we get our son moved in on Wednesday we'll be in his way until the picnic on Friday evening. So. . .I'm wondering if anyone is interested in meeting on Thursday evening for dinner and a show? Grey Gardens is at the Ensemble Theatre. We should get tickets in advance, so some planning is in order. We're up for that or anything else. Perhaps someone knows of a great place to eat?

If you give a price range for places to eat I can give you many suggestions. The Ensemble theatre is 'just off of' downtown in Cincinnati. Meaning it is a walkable distance (about a 10 minute walk depending on speed) but the neighborhood is sort of on the fringe and many people do not feel comfortable walking from the downtown hotels to the theatre.

If you are looking for more out of the downtown area and intend to drive there is a completely different selection, obviously. I think parking around the Ensemble is pretty easy (I haven't been in a while).

Thanks, keepingcalm. We're staying a bit out of town, and we'll probably drive to the theater (if that's where we end up going). As to restaurants, I'd vote for something "interesting"--either in terms of food or in terms of the feel. Super expensive is not appealing, but more moderately priced meals (say $25 or less, excluding alcohol) are OK.
