CCNY housing scholarship question

With my acceptance to MHC, I received a housing scholarship application from City to dorm at the Towers. All of the housing scholarship materials are due on April 1st but our decisions aren't due until May. I don't to miss out on possible free housing because I'm pretty sure I'm going there, but I'm not 100% sure either. Does anyone know for sure if sending in the housing scholarship application is binding and tells them I'm definitely going there?

Not sure if its binding but definitely call them tomorrow and find out. If its non-binding, I hope your done with your essay & have your recs ready for Wednesday.

The housing is not totally free since the scholarship is only up to 5K per year whereas the suites range from $4625 - $8,100 per semester.

Best wishes
