I'd rather have been outright rejected. As it is, I'm just devastated. |

I honestly can't believe it. This right after a Duke rejection and a Rice waitlisting. |

CMC offers excellent financial aid. In fact, it is one of the top 10 LACs for its aid packages, if I'm not mistaken. |

| not necessarily. every adcom is different. maybe someone over there loved your essay, while they hated it at CMC. |

| Got into my state school and USC. Rejected at Duke and waitlisted at Rice and CMC. Still waitin on Dartmouth, Stanford, Harvard, Pomona. But I guess I know what to expect now. |
