haha yeah, that's what I thought too... decisions would be online tonight, right? and then we would get mail correspondence later on? Well sure enough, those tricky CMC adcoms... they also sent out decisions in the mail today, as it was waiting for me when I checked the post this morning.

I got wait listed also. I then quickly filled out the card saying that I did not care to be on the list, and sent it back

Waitlisted with a 4.2 GPA,1700 SAT. I'm happy because CMC was such a reach for my anyway. I get rejected fro Cal and Pitzer, I'm staying on.

mehhh,

That is quite surprisingly, to say the least. You were rejected from Pitzer and placed on the waitlist for CMC? This comes as a surprise because CMC is much more difficult to get into.

OPPPS I meant to put IF*
My waitlist at CMC seems to give me an upperhand at Pitzer. However, I've visited both schools twice (once for a tour, another for an interview. ) So I think it's obvious that I have strong interest in both schools. I'm happy about CMC because my stats (by that I mean SAT scores) were way lower than the median and I feel like I'm gonna get into Pitzer. After all, Pitzer is SAT optional and such, thus that negativity is eliminated from my application. But I don't wanna jinx myself, and not get into a 5-C.

Again, IF. I feel bad, the guy above me got much better stats than me. Though, CMC was originally my dream school. Once again, I have YET to hear from Pitzer or Cal. I was really shaky when I was typing my first message. lol.

CMC is huge on the essays. You can, literally, write your way into the school. If you got rejected with those stats, chances are your essays were lacking.
