all you can really do is update the school on what you've been doing recently and tell them it is your first choice and you will absolutely go if you are accepted. no point in stalking admissions, they hate that
and move on. get excited about whatever school you're going to. i've now placed my deposit at a school i never thought i'd end up at and is probably not even remotely as good a fit as the schools i am wait listed at, but i'm still getting excited for the fall and concentrating on the positive aspects of my situation
anyone else get the wait-list letter from cmc yet? Mainly just the regular boring stuff, but they did mention that they most likely will use the alternate list this year. And that student demographics would play a factor in choosing spots off the waitlist (i.e. we need more north carolinan guys who play soccer, as we have none of those). Not that this helps our case much
lena. I also got the letter. I thought it funny that they advised to send out a deposit to another school by May 1 when the letter was postmarked May 1. But IDK how many people come from IL...but I hope its not too many. haha.
basically the letter said nothing. Yeah we think we'll admit people off the wait list....but not really...
Well, I've officially decided to give up on the wait-list for CMC! The funny thing is, I've become so excited about the university I've chosen to attend that I couldn't think of attending any other school!
It's been over a month wait, so it's highly likely that they will not be going to their wait-list at all, similar to last year.

Yeah... I agree. Good Luck at Michigan State(I saw your post in another forum)! My cousin goes there and likes it a lot.
I just don't get why they just don't end the wait already. I'm happy where I'm going and don't really think about the waitlist anymore but its a little nagging thing at the back of my head.
