hey guys, im an international student from the middle east
im originally asian, and would like to know my chances for cmckenna

GPA: 3.93

ACT: 29
SAT: 1850
SAT2: Math2: 790
(I don't think I will submit my SAT1/SAT2 scores, so just my ACT)

APs: Microeconomics (5), Macroeconomics (4), Statistics (5)
Next year: Calculus AB, Physics B, Chemistry

ECs: Cricket captain (6 years club, 2 years international); 1st place regionally. 2nd place internationally
Basketball (4 years); 1st place regionally, 3rd place internationally
MUN (4 years); ambassador, delegate, main submitter
NHS (2 years); member and head of tutoring
Amnesty international (2 years); vice president and activities director
Forensics and Debate (2 years); serious duet acting and oratory speaking

I will be applying as a math major and will not submit any standardized test scores. What are my chances?

Thanks!

Looks like you have a decent/good chance of admission. Do you plan to re-take the ACT? I think your ACT score is really good, but being a international student a higher ACT score may likely help a lot.

Extracurriculars matter most

I'm the mother of a CMC student, and I can see how nervous and worried you are about your chances. I don't know if you will find it comforting, but here's what I recommend: Your grades are great. Look at the school stats for standardized test scores. If you are at or above the average, you are over the threshold for acceptance. What they really look for is Leadership. That matters way more than grades and scores once you cross the threshold of ability to do the work. So in your application, emphasize everything you do that shows leadership. That will enhance your chances more than a few extra points on a test. Good luck.
