Personal Statement on the App.

On CMC's supplement to the Common App. right before the analytical essay prompt they reference "the personal statement". Where is the information for this "personal statement", prompt, word length etc.? Am I confused or missing something painfully obvious?

I don't have it in front of me to remember, but I'm thinking they mean on the common app.

thanks, okgal, I believe your are correct. I think my confusion lies in the fact that CMC refers to it as "the personal statement", while the common app. calls it the personal essay. Hopefully, that is the case, that would be one less thing to have to write
