Just got my acceptance in the mail today with the Achievement Scholarship - if only I had known you had to interview to be considered for the Presidential Scholarship (a bad mistake, definitley). I probably won't attend as it isn't enough money to pull me away from other insitutions, and I'm still waiting on 8 more decisions.
well i had 1300 m / cr SAT
only 3.0 gpa, but:
debate team for 4 years, varsity letter, executive board
campaigned for 30 million$ bond for HS
started a group to get kids interested in their education
taught CCD
volunteered at bible camp
took guitar lessons
took art class at RISD, one at RIC
a bunch of other little things, but idk, that leadership scholarship sounds like it could have gone to me maybe. what were yours?
