esobay, I'm with you on the senior picture. I really wanted S to sit for this. He didn't. Harumph.

S' school has a yearbook that gets sent to all graduates in the fall. He took his picture during fall semester, so that's all done. I did have to return the first prints the photographer sent because of strange shadows. Fortunately, they corrected them.

I haven't heard a word about senior pictures. Graduation is May 12. I don't know what to wear, either.

Pictures? I'll be lucky if he allows me to snap a few!
No word from S2 about anything related to graduation. The university grad. is May 4. His college's grad. is May 5. He has not said if he plans to attend all,one or none.
He still has not heard back from any of his summer internship (required to receive diploma) applications so that is weighing heavily on our minds.
We own a home not too far from his university so we'll be sleeping in our own bed on graduation weekend. No reservations necessary

D graduates on May 14. Flight and hotel, at jacked up graduation weekend price, are booked. Like others, I'm hoping D has taken care of cap and gown, but I've heard no mention of it!

I'm posting with a big yippee. S1 (graduates in May) was offered 2 different jobs and now must decide. One is what he dreamed of doing ever since he was a kid, but very entry level. The other is riskier, very current technology with more creative input and a lot more entrepreneurial. It almost feels like April four years ago (HS senior year!) and the admissions are in and it's time for him to make a big decision about where he wants to go. I'm thrilled to see him so happy, and reassured he seems to be employable. heh.

Thanks for letting me share the news here.

D1 graduates in May with a degree in math. She applied to 2 credential programs. Today we got a fat acceptance package in the mail! It is for the combo masters/credential program AND they are offering $$! Hurray!

YAY for fat envelopes and (hopefully) fat job offers.

And @jrpar YAY for my D who called and said she had booked her Sr. picture time (April 17th) . Now she wants to know if we should ship her her pearls to wear for it??? Anyone have a vote?
