Anyone know when Clemson sends out acceptances/denials after you get put on the waiting list? The letter said around mid-May, but I thought you had to commit somewhere by May 1.

Well the reason they say mid-May is that they won't know how many people to accept from the wait list until they see how many people commit to Clemson. That is one of the negatives of being on the wait list.

That's what confuses me. How can you go to Clemson off the wait list if you have to commit somewhere else first?

most schools don't notify their wait list applicants until May or June. That's just how it works.

I just found out (actually two minutes ago) by email from an admissions officer i have been corresponding with that I was pulled off the waitlist!
So notifications should be coming out any second now.
