Clemson Decisions are in!
My daughter's acceptance package to Clemson just came in today. Good luck to all others waiting to here from Clemson.

I see you are in south carolina? (it says it on your location. im not stalking you or anything :P) I am up north, hopefully they sent all the letters out at the same time and i will be getting my letter soon. congrats on your daughter getting in!

Jill08: Thanks! (Sorry for the misspelling - "hear" instead of "here" - in my original post). Clemson is my daughter's first choice by far and she's really happy to have the decision in and to be done with the waiting. I'm happy that she's so happy!

Very Happy
I must say I was very happy with my experience at clemson. the staff was very friendly and helpful, obviously LOVE clemson and working with students, and knowledgeable. I was actually alarmed to hear that they actually get more "hate calls" then thank yous. these people really work hard to make clemson the best it could be, but sometimes saying no is part of the job. its easy for me to say cause we were successful, but even if we were denied, our experience was extremely positive.

She has a 1290 SAT (2000/2400), 4.2 weighted GPA, and 6 AP's. She is also instate. She applied and got in to several OOS uni's, but really feels comfortable and happy with Clemson.

I'm out of state. from ohio. I haven't hear back yet.
3.3 gpa uw. and 3.7 weighted 1350/1990 sats. Did i not get in?

esmitty, don't panic. the letters only started going out today, it would be impossible for it to get to your mailbox today, considering you live in ohio. my boyfriend had similar stats and he got in last year.

O i hope so sooooo bad. I will be absolutely crushed. I'm worried cuz i wrote a horrible personal statement. Do u think that carries much weight.

i dont think they wouldn't accept you based on a paragraph or two of writing. your stats seem solid for clemson, good luck!

Yeah, you should get in I had a 1370 and a 3.45(weighted); I just got my acceptance letter. I was oos as well.

My daughter also received an acceptance packet today. We live in suburban Atlanta. After reading the article mom2010 posted, I think we appreciate this acceptance even more.
