Transferring to Clemson as a sophomore- Housing?

Hey-

I'm 95% sure I am transferring to Clemson this fall. I will be a sophomore and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for housing. I know there is a program where you can live with other transfer students.... would you recommend this?
Or, I can request to be randomly assigned into the apartments....I'm worried and would really love some advice!

If you know anything about Clemson or the residence halls, let me know what you think I should do! I don't know anyone, so I won't be requesting a roommate. What would be the best option?

Thanks in advance!

I moved this into the Clemson forum so you might have a better chance at someone responding.
