OOS Tuition Waiver for Transfer Students?

I've just been accepted to Clemson as a transfer student in engineering (rising sophomore) from UNC Charlotte (I live in Saluda, NC). I've been reading that Clemson offers an OOS Tuition Waiver for many out of state high school students who qualify, granting them in-state tuition.

Does anyone know if this waiver can be granted to transfer students? I have a 3.9 GPA at Charlotte.

I plan on contacting admissions about this on Monday, I'm just curious if anyone has any experience with this.

Thanks!

I don't think so......admissions seems to be only offering this waiver so it can "boost" the stats of their freshmen class
