Do we need to bring a router for the dorm room?

No. Unfortunately they aren't allowed (although some students manage to get them up for a while), so you will have to be hard-wired in most of the time in your room.

Clemson is working on getting all the dorms wireless by the time school starts in August. At orientation, the wireless internet worked perfectly fine in my dorm room.

Thanks Pierre. I just realized that JT used his laptop when we were there for orientation and I know he was using the video chat!
