What are my chances of getting in? I am white and from MN.

29 ACT Composite Score
- 10 Writing Score

1840 SAT Composite Score
- 620 Critical Reading
- 600 Math
- 620 Writing
- 8 Essay

GPA:
- 10.833 CumNoWtGPA which is a 3.611
- 11.217 CumWtGPA which is a 3.739

Volunteer and Sports:
-Over 50 hours volunteer by mid-summer
-Baseball (Freshman, Soph, JV, and Varsity hopefully this year)

Job:
-Caddie for 3 years. An "A" Caddie currently.

EC:

DECA Vice President
Leadership group core member
Run school coffee shop

I have more ECs, but that is just the base.

I think you'll get in

I got accepted with a 3.06 (out of 4) GPA and a 2010 SAT score into engineering. Since your GPA is higher than mine and your SAT score is average for clemson, you should get in.....but you never know with schools.

i feel like you have a pretty good shot at getting into clemson. i have seen clemson take many students who have a lower grade point and test scores than you do. My suggestion would be to apply early.

could i get in?

GPA: unweighted: 3.3
weighted: around a 3.55
ACT: 30 composite (Taking again)
AP's: Environmental Science (3)
US History(3)
Statistics(taking senior year)
Physics(taking senior year)
Economics(taking senior year)
-High School was credited as in the top 100 public high Schools in the country
-out-of-state(ohio)
-have taken all honor classes except for english my sophomore, junior, and senior year
-with honor classes, they do not weigh GPA higher. only AP's
-Plan to apply Early Action to increase my chances

I must say the reason my 3.0 GPA works for Clemson is because I go to a top 100 high school in the US ranked by US News and Newsweek (Clemson probably likes rankings haha) so I suspect that my GPA gets a bit of a boost because of how competitive and hard they think it is.

So kevink1, if your high school is also supposedly top 100, I think you have a pretty good shot at getting in.
