Family Weekend

I am presently planning for family weekend (plane tickets, hotel, car rental etc.). I understand that there will be no parking available for the football game. I also understand that the Greenville Hilton will provide bus service on Saturday and Sunday but I dont like being locked into a time that I have to take the bus. Is there any public transportation available at any of the hotels in the area? Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated!

I don't think any of the local hotels have public transportation available. However, if you book now you might be able to get a spot at the Ramada, Sleep Inn, or other Clemson hotels. I stayed at the Ramada when I visited and it was a 15-20 minute walk down to the Clemson campus.

Actually, you can probably take the CAT bus to get yourself around town to save walking .

I don't really understand why they would bus people back and forth to Greenville when there are plenty of hotels in the Clemson area. But then again, they may be booked full because people will come for the BC game.
(I've been a BC fan for most of my life so that's gonna be an interesting game for me haha)
