Anyone know what's going on with housing?

My daughter still hasn't received her housing assignment and when I called the housing office this morning I got no where. I was first told that the assignments were mailed yesterday, but when I explained that she couldn't view the info on line, the women looked into it and then told me that they were still working on some students. She couldn't give me any idea of when she would find out and was very abrupt and borderline rude! Is there a problem that anyone is aware of?

everyone at clemson seems to be really annoyed because all the freshman are freaking about everything! I know someone who called parking yesterday and the person was also annoyed and didn't want to give any info out.

I know some people received their housing information online yesterday so maybe more will be done today? Just hope that they aren't running out of rooms......

I called housing yesterday asking for an assignment change, and they allowed me to put in my request, but they said i probably won't get it since housing is extremely tight right now.

Did you call them or email them? Cause i emailed them on Friday and still haven't gotten a response so i called them instead.

I called them and they were not helpful. If nothing gets posted today I'm going to call again tomorrow. I am concerned that there is a problem like no rooms.

I did so i could get some conformation. The problem with calling, is the first person i talked to was no help at all, she told me i can't put in a request tell 2 weeks after school starts. I called back later and someone else answered and they said they would put me on a room assignment change list. I also emailed them but since i never got a response ( may have been since i didn't use the school email) i called them instead.

I emailed them on Friday and I haven't gotten a reply back either, they must be really busy right now so if I call it might be later this week so they don't get too annoyed haha

Well i just log on to look at my housing, and i got a new roommate so it is possible that you can change your housing assignment.

good to hear oc, you switched just roommates right? I'm trying to switch where I'm living. I hope that works out because I haven't heard anything from housing since I emailed in the request.

my daughter's roomate recieved a letter stating she would be moved or recieve a new roomate due to overflow housing? That doesn't make sense to me since they are both freshman in a freshman dorm. Have you heard of that?

No i'm trying to change where i'm living as well, but one of my roommates must have got an assignment change cause i got a different roommate then who i was going to have.

I got my housing changed to a 2 person apartment, so i'm pretty happy. The one thing i'm not sure of it says my housing assignment is Eaton? i can't find this residential area anywhere, unless it's abbreviated for some residential area.

That's interesting, better hope that they're not trying to trick you, a 2 person apartment seems too good to be true and there's no residential area as far as I know called Eaton
