BOSS HITS THE 600 MARK
by X assoc. press member
Boss, a proud Connecticut Coastie parent, has recently hit his 600 mark on the widely read and well respected CC forum. An expert in his field as a CP (Coastie Parent), Boss has been an asset to the CC community by answering questions to those seeking his Hoda-like advice since his first post back in February of 2005. Although no one in the community mentioned this grand milestone on the forum, it was reported that a large group of party go-ers gathered to pay a surprise tribute to what they consider their "Oh Big Orange One". Signs and banners were hung at a local pub to commemorate the event that happens only once in every CCer's lifetime. It was also reported that a few members of the party were escorted out of the building when they had desecrated a 6' x 10' photo of the guest of honor with the words, "GO KP!". Close contacts to Boss had quoted him with "If you call me Francis, I'll Kill you" when asked what he'd think about being honored by such an event. Other members at the event told on-lookers that they had chosen the wrong underwear for the occasion and were brought up on the group's punishment charges and forced to do 2 push-ups that sent three to the hospital for treatment to their injuries. Further news of this cult like following and event photos can be found at

HA HA You guys got me! You know I really didn't even notice I had passed 600...too much young key-dets hanging around the "home for wayward coasties" this weekend. And a large number of young ladies I might add...there's something about that uniform that attracts em...not to mention my famous Yankee Pot Roast with homemade(yeah right) buttermilk biscuits. Anyway thanks JM you have outdone yourself. HA!(to quote a certain southern belle!)...

Wait a second. Something must be wrong. Didn't you get the "welcome member" package when you'd hit 600? Strange. I got one with a lovely leather folio containing my member card, acceptance certificate, a 20% coupon off to CC Yackers Anonymous & a bottle of Merlot complete with an Admiral's hat bottle stopper. Well, maybe you'll get it in a few days. Mail doesn't run today...
You're going to need a vacation after that houseful of boys leave. And your cupboards are probably bare by now. Too funny. Bet you have to make a trip to Blockbuster to return movies today too. Hey! I saw it was about 10 degrees up there or something insane like that so bundle up! My kid found out he can't walk to well on ice this week-end. Poor southern boys just can't figure out that slow is good.

Ha no package yet! I'm awaiting a special delivery by dogsled. More snow yesterday and the temps went from 50 to 15 in a day! We had three cars frozen so bad we couldn't unlock em so we had strays here all day! You're right about the movies too...Five of em stacked up on the entertainment center...

Hey, sorry, the dogsled broke down. Ran out of pink salmon and the husky refuses to run on the canned stuff. The lab runs on milkbones, but being 13, well, wouldn't really call that running. And the heat! Incredible! The pups are losing so much fur it looks like cottonwood fuzz blowing in the summer. Optimum range is -30F, and I think they actually need some coolant. We'll keep on coming, though, although it may take until May at this rate.
Until then, squirt lighter fluid into those locks and plug those cars in!
