CGA Sweeps MMA in Swimming

Do to sabotage by certain MMA parents, all of my posts from yesterday were wiped out.

To recap:CGA Men's and Women's swimmers dunked their friendly rivals from Kings Point at the Mariners pool. Trip to L.I. was worth it for the Bears' men and women.

Two more points for CGA towards the Superintendents' Trophy. More news to follow from yesterday's Coast Guard Invitational Track Meet at New London. Stay tuned.

And apparently, the USCG track team crushed KP over the weekend. Ouch. It is always darkest before the dawn....

I knew about this but I didn't mention it due to not wanting to "rub it in."

I would just like to say that although USCG is about the same size as USMMA, approximately 1/4 of the KP students are "at sea" at any one time. That said, this is a healthy & fun rivalry - so hats off (this week)! After all, graduates will be working together for a good portion of their lives!

I hear you weski...it's all good and we respect all the academies. We're all on the same team the good ol' USA!

"After all, graduates will be working together for a good portion of their lives!"

Except KP grads usually continue to dislike their CG peers because they are the ones responsible for inspecting our ships and making us take that beast of a test every five years. Darn them, haha
