Does anybody know for sure if the Coast Guard Academy changed its physical fitness test for cadets recently. If so, what is the new test like? Thanks very much.

There will be a change, as of the fall of 2006.
New PFE will follow along with the "fleet" standards and is comprised of 1.5 mile run, sit-ups and cadence count push-ups.

I've heard that the new 2010 swabs will be tested with both the old and the new PFEs.
