Single Course Exchange Program With Conn Coll

Does anyone knows how this program works?

I'll be a Math/Econs major at Conn and I'm interested in taking some of the accounting and operations research & computer analysis courses that CGA offers but not Conn. But I am wondering how feasible is this really? I haven't visited but I heard the two colleges are just next to each other on opposite sides of the street... but still it should take some time to travel from one campus to the other (especially when Conn is supposed to be situated on a hill...)? Is it feasible in the long run (maybe say two semesters) to run from campus to campus?

Another thing is that, I noticed that many of the operations research course formats are marked as Class/Project, "with an emphasis on Coast Guard applications". Do Conn students fit into such courses? It's weird enough to picture one civilian amongst a classroom of uniformed cadets, not to mention having that lone civilian partaking in projects with the cadets?

Anyone has any advice or experience to share?

The two campuses are within "reasonable" walking distance of each other. I can only speak from the CGA side but usually only seniors are allowed to cross-register.
If you feel funny in a class with people in uniforms, imagine how a lone cadet would feel in uniform with a bunch of civilians!

Anyway I don't think that's a problem since they've been doing this for years. The ORCA program is very strong so I think you'd enjoy it. Good luck.
