Eagle in Greenport

Here's the info on the Eagle's visit to Greenport, NY

This will be the last of the swab cruises. The OCS candidates board here and will be sailing to Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Thanks Boss. I wonder how the OCS cruise will differ from the swabs. Who are the OCS cadre - do you know? I imagine all of the OCS candidates are 22 years old or older. Do you have any idea how many will be aboard?

I don't think they have a cadre per se. I think the officers and crew mentor them along with some instructors from OCS. There are usually 35 or so in an OCS class so there are fewer to "watch over." For the most part they are college graduates.
