Message from Bogan Division Champs

Greetings football fans:
Please join us this Saturday (11/18) at noon for a LIVE WEBCAST of the
2006 ECAC North Atlantic Bowl hosted by the Coast Guard Academy!
Watch the Bogan Division champion Coast Guard Academy Bears (8-2) take on NEFC Bogan Division runner-up Bridgewater State (7-2) in the 2006 ECAC North Atlantic Bowl. Coast Guard beat Bridgewater 21-17 during the regular season. This is Coast Guard's first trip to the postseason since earning an NCAA playoff berth in 1997. This is also only the second time Coast Guard has played in an ECAC Bowl game. The Bears beat Plymouth State 28-19 in 1988 in their only other appearance. The link to watch and listen live can be found at www.cgasports.com on the football homepage.
Keep an eye out for several of the stand-out players in this turnaround Coast Guard season. Preseason All-American punter Jesse Harms leads the NEFC and is third in the nation in average punting yards, improving on his sixth place standing after last season, and sophomore quarterback Niles Pierson was recently honored by the Boston Globe with the Division II/III Golden Helmet Award.

Here here!

A great season for the CGA Bears.

Congrats to the women's volleyball team as well for winning the NEWMAC and New England Championships and making it to the final 8 of the NCAA Tournament.

Also a big year for cross country and rugby teams.

Not bad for a school with less than 1,000 kids! GO BEARS!
