AIM app

the suspense is killing me! I keep checking to see whether the online application has been made available yet and I am disappointed every time. Does anyone know whether it is a rolling acceptance policy or whether they choose out of the entire pool?

Looks like AIM application listed on CGA Web Site sign up page is "summer 2006's". Probably just a glitch, new one for 2007 should be posted soon.

As far as knowing if selected for AIM or not, you'll have to wait to after 15th Apr. (maybe till May) to find out. If you are not selected either by choice pick (applicants they really want) or by lottery (lottery of really good prospects), you will be placed on a back up list. New prospects are selected off of backup list when the former AIM selections back out for what ever reason.

Anyway Good Luck

JTR below is an example from the CGA message board \/

Katty,

We are currently experiencing some issues with the AIM application and I would ask that you return to your profile and make sure that you have your correct birth date listed on there as soon as possible. There are age restrictions on both the AIM and regular Academy applications for a reason. I don't want you to jeopardize your chances of receiving an appointment by being dishonest in order to get the application to work. Please try to log on again either later today or some time tomorrow and make the necessary corrections. If you're still experiencing problems, please contact your admissions officer for some additional guidance.

I am having the same problems you are with the AIM app.
I received an e-mail from CGA this morning saying that they are currently working on the glitch and it should be fixed by the end of the day.
