For the incoming swabs, your turn comes beginning July 27 in Miami; there are three phases of swabs with one week each on Eagle.

Also sounds like the Eagle will be going in for repairs from Oct.-Jan. at Curtis Bay Coast Guard shipyard.

During the weeks that the swabs are on-board, (it looks like Miami, Brunswick and Norfolk) are visitors allowed to tour? If parents go during that time, can they see or spend any time with their swab? Or is that not a cool thing to do to them? :-)

The Eagle is always open to tours when in port. The cadets usually get some time off during the stops so if you were around it would be ok to spend time with them. This has been done in the past. Last summer parents met kids in Bermuda and San Juan, so it's not a problem.
