Do I have what it takes for early admissions?

Hello everyone! I completed my application for early acceptance to the Coast Guard Academy on Oct 31st. However my best ACT test score is a Composite 25, English is a 21, Math is a 25, Reading is a 30 and Science is a 24. I have taken the SAT before and prefer the ACT. I also do not have two years of a forgein language completed (I almost have a year done of Russian). However I am medically qualified by DOBMERB which is a big plus, and the Track and Field coach put a letter of recommendation in my file for review at the admission board. I have been taking the SAT and ACT since I was a Freshman. I prefer the ACT over the SAT, and since the beginning of this year I have stuck with that. This year I have been studying really hard to improve my ACT scores but I just don't seem to do well on the test. My last chance to improve my scores for the ACT is on December 8th if my scores don't improve do I even have a remote chance of getting in?

I'd say you probably have a decent chance judging by some of their published numbers. At the very least, I can tell you you'll know in about 3-4 weeks :P

I'm waiting too! Like tman135 I think I'll have to wait til March 1st. Academics are good (SAT Verbal - 710; Math 660; Writing 670; class rank 29/273; GPA W 4.27; UW 3.5) but Physical Fitness only scored 142. I'm doing my best to get in shape so I can retake the Fitness test and resend scores prior to March. I took DOD exam a few weeks ago but haven't heard results yet.
