Laptops

Does anyone know what type of laptops we'll be getting, or at least which ones were issued last year?

Glock, at the Potomac/Chesapeake CG picnic a few wks ago a parent asked this same question, and we were told we should be getting the computer specs for Class of 2012 on R-day. Sorry, that's all the info I got. Hopefully someone out there has some intel to share...

haha. I use Vista on my Laptop I kinda like it... I bet they're going to use it because I doubt they'll use Mac's. Unless they go with XP.

wow, 4 GB ram, 2 GB Readyboost capable flash drive, 2.2 GHz processor, and a video card with half of its own ram.... very nice....

Take vista out and you would have a very very powerful computer
(if you haven't figured it out, i'm no fan of vista, mainly because of the ram usage and bugs)

but still, that's impressive. Maybe i'll give dell on more try.....
(last two dell laptops were junk, overheated... poor designs)
