To all the families and especially future CGA cadets- GOOD LUCK as you embark on your journey. We're leaving Sunday morning for New London, CT, and I hope to meet some of you on R-day.

Thanks to everyone here for the tips, advice and just listening...it's a great resource and place to come to. The Coast Guard may be small, and the quiet service in the background, but what a tight-knit group. We're proud and happy to become a part of the CG family.

And to the wonderful young men and women who are entering the Academy, good thoughts and prayers and all the best to you!
