I signed up for AIM last year just for the hell of it, see what the academy would be like.

It was a lot harder than I thought it would be, but also infinitely more fun. I made lifetime friends during my week at the academy. When it came time to apply, I decided against it, as I want to give myself the full college experience, which I definitely feel would be missed at the academy.

Time flies thats for sure...I remember that this time last year I was hanging on the edge of my seat waiting for the AIM application to come out, and now, I will actually be attending USCGA as a member of the Class of 2013!! To all juniors: time flies, work on those AIM apps, its an experience you dont want to miss!

trackandfield08... your CLASS OF 2013 ballcaps are in the bookstore as of a couple of weeks ago. A couple of us had a real good laugh when we saw them.

why not have someone write them while you are abroad, I am sure you will be in contact with someone that can write in english ?!?!?

and get a couple from the teacher before you finish your sophomore year and put them in a file..

Good luck!
