CGA "Honors" Program

What exactly is the CGA Honors program? I believe it says on the academy website that it allows you to test out certain subjects... I'm very interested in this, because I will have already completed calculus I and II, and an extremely high level physics course before reaching the Academy. So how does the program work, and what makes you elligible for it?

thanks!

United States Coast Guard Academy (Honors Program)

You're initially considered for the program based on how well you perform on the placement/validation exams given during Swab Summer; however, it's primarily driven by your academic performance during 4/c and 3/c year. I would recommend contacting the program coordinator (her contact information is available at the link above) for additional information.
