haroldg48 Junior Member Join Date: Feb 2008 Location: Nags Head, NC Posts: 80	Commencement speaker No, the commencement speaker is Janet Napolitano, the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, of which the Coast Guard is a part.

Bossf51 Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: BC '73, USCGA Parent '09; Seton Hall '11; Wellesley '15; Retirement '16 Posts: 1,853	The President and VP rotate among the various academies in a four-year cycle. Last year the VP was the speaker and two years ago the President.
