Still waiting here as well... I recall we'd hear mid-May, so perhaps in another week or so.

An admissions officer (Objee) confirms that the letters are going out today, and all will be out by Monday.

Have fun! Session 2, according to my cadre from last year, was the hardest because the 1st session they were getting used to what to do and the third session the cadre were just ready to get home lol. It is definitely a great experience, I know it will be odd for me to see the Aimsters at the CGA now that I will be a Swab! Time flies, thats for sure.

What happens if we haven't heard anything by Friday, May 15th? There was an email sent out awhile ago stating that my application was complete, and that I would hear by today. I know of someone who lives very close to me and she heard days ago. Does this mean I am not accepted? Wouldn't I at least receive a letter saying this?

I have questions for haroldg48 or anyone else who knows the answer? Are you sure that all AIM letters (acceptance and rejection) have gone out? How do you know? How long should son wait to call admissions dept? Thanks.

In response, no I don't know. I was answering based on my son's experience two years ago...he got a "no" letter, so I'd expect there'd be both yes and no letters this year. It won't hurt to call, since there's always a chance that something's lost in the mail. If they said thge 15th and it's only the 18th, I'd wait a day or 2 unless there are some crucial plans hanging on the decision.
By the way, they get a ton of AIM applicants and can't accept all they'd like to, so a "no" isn't that catastrophic. My son got no to AIM, but early acceptance to the Academy, has finished his first year having had a great year, academically and otherwise!
