Because so few of the total number of applicants (nearly 84,000) for the Coca-Cola Scholars Program are advanced as Semifinalists, we consider this an outstanding achievement. As one of 2,200 Semifinalists, we hope that you see your selection as affirmation of your ability to distinguish yourself academically and personally.

Notification informing you of the reading committee's decision will be mailed in early February, 2012. Those selected as Coca-Cola Scholars must attend the Coca-Cola Scholars Weekend (April 12-15, 2012) at the Scholars Foundation's expense during which time you will interview for one of 50 National Scholar awards of $20,000. The remaining 200 Scholars will receive Regional Scholar awards valued at $10,000.
