Oh yeah, my sister had a 26 on her ACT and was still selected to be a national scholar (the 20k one).
So the ACT and SAT scores are not the only factor that they use.
Then again, she had over 2600 hours of community service and was president of every single thing she was in....

Did anyone get an email yet? Sounds like only PersianPrincess has heard (Congrats again! Hope to meet you in Atlanta.) Wonder if they are working tonight. I am surprised how many of the college admissions folks are working late at night... have gotten evening calls and emails from them so maybe Coke folks are busy writing our emails now???
AHHH. I am seriously so jealous of all of you UChi EA Acceptances. I wanted to get in so bad but got deferred. Didn't let it get me down though. Sent a homemade video about the top 10 reasons uchi should still accept me, pretty funny. Hope it shows off an even greater side of my personality, which is what uc loves!
@stereo.... I was astonished that I got into such a good school! I was actually able to apply because Questbridge waved my application I also applied to 8 more schools... but as time passes by i keep falling in love with it! Hopefully you get admitted! If you're a semifinalist then you should have an amazing application. Now that I think of it, it would be amazing if you met a finalist in Atlanta and both of you attended the same school!
I got deferred from UChi EA too, stereostaticxx, don't worry. Did you get in anywhere else? I got into Boston College EA and Northeastern's Honors Program EA.

So what's the consensus? Are we expecting not today?
At this point, only a miracle can end our anxiety. I personally do not think that the results will be out anytime soon. Cokescholar is busy finding the Banquet for the weekend. After Banquet is found, they will have to find the speakers, honorable speakers. A nice caterer is queued up after the speakers are traced, and the list goes on and on. By the time everything is finalized, I am afraid that the scholarship fund may go in the wrong direction (negative). Before the dire consequence happens, buy a lot of Coke (at regular price - no coupon pls.)
