I just received an email from Colby stating that the waitlist had been closed. This must have been a case of overenrollment. Almost every top LAC seems to be having this same problem. Any explanations?
Skunk, Colby went to grants this year for all admits with demonstrated need. This probably meant that more accepted their offer than anticipated. It is indeed unusual to close the waitlist this quickly.
