Colby violates no loan policy..

family has no income, living on unemployment, colby insists on using assets to pay virtually all tuition...hobsons choice: retirement or loans...

Colby's no loan policy means as I understand it that you will not be offered a loan as part of your Financial Aid package. They will meet your fully demonstrated need (as they interpret it based on FAFSA and CSS Profile) w/o a loan required

You still have the option to choose a Stafford Loan or Plus Loan to help meet your EFC
They have been true to this in our situation. We chose to have our son take out an unsubsidized Stafford to help us meet our EFC
