Can someone describe to me what you did during colby first class and how much summer reading and writing you had to do?

I asked my S, and he said that it was not a big deal - I think he read an assigned paper of maybe 5 to 10 pages, he can't even recall if they had to submit something. He said not to stress about this at all. It was a non-event for him.

According to my S, it depends on the class and the professor. My S is quite comfortable giving oral presentations, so he doesn't really remember how many he had to do.
