Language placement test and dorm stuff

Is the language test a big deal and where can I find a list of things I need to bring for colby?

We second the question about language placement, and just taking languages in general. And, bballaz, here's the link to Colby's list of what to bring:

Not sure what you mean by a big deal. The test just determines which level of a language class you'll be placed in. A lot of kids probably don't have a really strong preference about this since for many being in a lower level class and not killing yourself may not be the worst option. My impression is that the test isn't terribly long and I didn't get the feeling from my S that people study for it or anything. Unless a student really wants to place into a high level language class at the outset, it probably isn't too stressful.
