Can anyone out there comment on getting back and forth from New England (Boston area) to Colgate? I'd be interested in train and bus information. Thanks!

The nearest Amtrak station is Utica - students share taxis to Utica at break times. There's a Greyhound station in Utica too. There are several bus companies that stop right in Hamilton (see the Colgate website for a list - Trailways and some others) and there are additional bus runs from Colgate at break times. My son talked to the local travel agent in Hamilton to find a bus home at Christmas (not to Boston though) - the bus left right from campus. Some Colgate alumni groups also sponsor "movie buses" from Colgate at break times.
