im a junior right now, thinkin about applying next year
male, asian
3.6 unweighted, competitive HS
2 APs, 1 honors Junior year, probably 3 aps SR.
SAT-2200
SAT 2's- pretty bad...chem 630, maybe taking more
probably taking ACT instead..

EC
Volunteer at Law Office, 5 hrs week
"Explorers" program at Queens District Attorney's office
Violin, 12 years-
NYSSMA participant
Inter School Orchestra of NY member
School Theatrical Productions- Band member and Co-director
Writer School Newspaper- OpEd and Sports
Writer for widely read Chinese newspaper
Member of Amnesty International chapter at school
Founder of International Justice Mission at school

any answers would be great

from what i know about colby, you are definitely in the running! if you keep your gpa up through the rest of this year, i would be confident in your application.

Psst. rhf. The OP said Colgate, not Colby.


OP , I'd say you were in the running but Colgate numbers are rising. The ACT is not a bad idea (score choice) . Remember, when you send your 2200 your 630 is going to go, too. Not that it's bad. You'd just like to roll all 7's if you can. Find something in your EC's that you love and double up , a leadership position would be nice.

yes, haha, thank you. what i wrote still applies, just a little mechanical error. my hands just sort of take control of the keyboard after the col-. colGATE was the school i had in mind, though.
