question about april 19th visit

why does it end at 130 pm? the tuesday ones go until midnight

unfortunately i can only go to the wensday april 19th event, but im a little unclear about this... can we stay overnight for this date?

after 130 PM, do we just chill with our hosts and do whatever the rest of the day/night?

The premise is that you go up on the 18th, spend the afternoon and evening there, sleep over at your host's room and then after a short program the next day, still have time after it ends to return home or start off to your next stop.

You might be able to snag a place to sleep the 19th, but the program is set up for only those two days. Can you make it the next round instead?

i can make it now for april 18 th and 19th... however, it ends 130 pm on the 19th , and i wont have a ride home until 5 or 6 (both my parents have jury duty, go figure) ... do u think colgate can keep me occupied during this time frame?

I'm sure they can and will keep you busy, the Admissions Office is very accomodating. It's only the "official" program that ends at 1:30. Life at Colgate goes on and I'm sure there are others staying later to pursue something of particular interest to them.

I'd suggest, before going up, thinking about what you might be interested in doing or seeing that is not part of the announced schedule and arranging to do that before hand.

A particular department or class or professor, a facility? Team or coach? Or you may want to check it out in more detail on your own, without the filter of the program. Hang out in the Coop, walk down the hill to check out the town of Hamilton. Basically whatever you think would be important to you.
