Grinnell all the way.
I guess it depends on what you like. Grinnell seems a bit more liberal artsy, Colgate's more jocky it seems, lots of hills and athletic people. I like Grinnell because most people at Grinnell were probably the sort of quirky/geeky kids. Also, Grinnell's better known for it's tough courseload. It depends on what you're looking for, I bet if you specified what you wanted in a school we'd be able to help you.
For me...Grinnell has a more diverse population, smaller size, flatter and less cold, quirkier, less athletic, smaller townness, not as widespread study abroad program.
Colgate, it seems to me, is more well known, more scenic campus...
