anyone visiting from the long island/nyc area?

is anyone from the long island/nyc area planning on going to the visit days on the 18th-19th? if so, how are you planning on getting there? thanks

Are parents supposed to go with us? My mom wants to see the school but she doesn't want to stay overnight... and she doesn't want me to drive by myself

im visiting those days.. im driving up with my dad, we live in bergen county nj soo its about a 4ish hour drive.

You can take Amtrak from Penn Station to Utica. Last year Colgate had free busses from the station to the campus (@half hour ride). My D's train was very late due to track work and they picked up the tab for a cab.

If you drive it might be difficult to find a place to stay at this point. The Inn is not that large. Whenever I go up I stay at the Howard Johnson's in Norwich which is reasonable and about a half hour away but seems a lot closer, a straight shot up 12 to 12B.

im goin up alone- parents are invited, but after a few hours, you meet and go around with ur host the rest of the night.
