Alliance Bank and Oneida Savings are both in town a short walk or Cruiser ride from the dorms on the hill. One (I forget which) has an ATM card in the Coop. You can open an account at either when you go up.
I think the banking facilities are less than ideal since getting money into those banks are not that easy. I opened an account for my daughter at my bank, so that I could transfer money into her account online. When she needs money she can take an ATM from one of the local banks. They charge a fee, so I encourage her to take larger amounts rather than several smaller ones an incur the fee.
'Course, many things on Campus (laundry) and in town also accept the Gate Card which you can transfer money to online.
