are people on campus mostly conservative, liberal or apathetic? ...

depends who you ask. I would answer this question by saying that most (and this is especially true for small liberal arts colleges) colleges are liberal (or leaning liberal). With this said, I have found Colgate to be a bit more evenly split. As a result most would say that the compus is conservative. This doesn't mean that there is a mojority of conservative people it just means that compared to most other schools it is more conservative. But i have found that this creates more debate and a healthier political atmosphere...

yeah someone told me that colgate is very conservaitve, but i tend to question that
